Before Your First Visit
A few quick answers for new students and visitors.
Do I Need Experience?
No. Complete beginners are welcome and training can be matched to your experience and goals.
What Should I Wear?
Athletic clothing is fine for your first visit. If you’re trying a gi class, a gi can be available for the trial if needed.
How Long Are Classes?
Classes are generally around 60 minutes.
Do I Have to Compete?
No. Competition is optional. Students can train for fitness, community, skill development or competition goals.
Are Private Lessons Available?
Yes. Contact us to ask about private lesson availability.
Can Visitors Drop In?
Yes. Visitors and drop-ins are welcome; please contact us in advance.
